1. Who operates this service
myFunction (the "Service") is operated by Benchcut Logic LLC ("we", "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the myFunction browser extension and Visual Studio Code extension, the https://myfunction.dev website, and any related backend services (together, the "Service"). By installing the extension or using the website, you agree to these Terms.
2. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the browser extension and the Visual Studio Code extension (the "extensions") for your own Google Apps Script development. The extensions, their backend, and the Apps Script declaration library they download remain the property of Benchcut Logic LLC. Except for the copies the extensions make and cache while you use them, you may not resell, sublicense, copy, or redistribute them; decompile or reverse engineer them beyond what applicable law permits; scrape or bulk-download the declaration library or other Service data; use them to build a competing product; or remove proprietary notices.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to violate law, to interfere with Google's services or infrastructure, to attempt unauthorized access to Apps Script projects you do not own or are not authorized to edit, or to abuse, overload, or probe the Service's backend. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.
4. Subscriptions and billing
myFunction Pro is a paid subscription priced at $5.99/month (USD). Billing starts at checkout; Pro has no free trial. Signed-in accounts without a subscription may use 5 AI quick fixes or JSDoc generations per calendar month (UTC) at no cost; unused uses do not carry over, and a request counts once it reaches the AI service, even if it fails. Subscriptions are billed and processed securely by Stripe on behalf of Benchcut Logic LLC. Your subscription automatically renews each billing period until you cancel. You can review pricing on the /pricing page and refund terms on the /refunds page.
5. Free features
Completions, continuous diagnostics, hover documentation, signature help, navigation, the declaration library, and deterministic quick fixes are free without an account. Diagnostics have no session limit. Signed-in accounts may use 5 AI quick fixes or JSDoc generations per calendar month; an active myFunction Pro subscription removes that limit. Paid features are clearly identified inside the extension before you are asked to subscribe.
6. Data and third-party services
The extension reads Apps Script project source through Google's official Apps Script API using OAuth you explicitly grant, and may use Google sign-in for account identification. See the Privacy Policy for details on what is collected, how it is stored, and how to revoke access. myFunction is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that diagnostics or proposed code changes are correct or complete. You remain responsible for reviewing, testing, and approving every change before it is applied to your Apps Script project.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Benchcut Logic LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Benchcut Logic LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise. [Governing law and venue to be finalized before public launch.]
